The Making.
The Making.
We breathe new life into old! Natural fibers are transformed into a pulp using traditional techniques and unique tools. Our handmade papers, each sheet is hand-lifted. The fibers are interlocked in both directions, hence the strength. In normal paper, they are interlocked only in one direction, hence the 'grain'.
Each sheet is born with a gentle dance. We dip a mold and deckle into the vat, capturing a delicate layer of pulp, and shake it with love to create an even masterpiece.
Sun-kissed and air-dried, our paper blooms on racks, taking on its final textured form. Some embrace natural beauty, while others receive vibrant dyes, or custom designs for a touch of magic.

Are handmade paper products durable?
While handmade paper might have a softer feel than commercially produced paper, it can be surprisingly durable! The strength and longevity depend on the specific fibers used and the papermaking technique. We use high-quality materials and traditional methods to ensure our paper is strong enough for everyday use, like greeting cards, stationery, or even light packaging. However, it's important to remember that handmade paper is unique and may require gentler handling than mass-produced alternatives.
Can I write on handmade paper?
Absolutely! Most of our handmade paper is pen-friendly and ball-point pen glide beautifully over the textured surface. However, it's always best to test a small area first, especially with pigmented inks or wet media like watercolor.

Sustainability is at the heart of our process! We primarily use natural fibers like cotton minimizing our environmental impact. Additionally, our handmade paper is biodegradable and compostable, further reducing its end-of-life footprint.
